What we collect

• Families:your name, email, phone (if provided), home address, your default rate, your children's first names and birth month/year, and any emergency information you choose to add.
• Sitters:your name and, if provided, your email and/or mobile number, your general availability, what you're comfortable with, and a short bio.
• Requests you post or respond to, and the records needed to coordinate them.

How we use it

We use this information solely to operate the service: to match a family's request with sitters who fit, to send notifications about those requests, and to place a confirmed sitting on the family and sitter's calendars. Emergency information is shared only with the one sitter a family confirms for a specific sitting.

Text messages (SMS)

If you opt in, we send SMS notifications related to your babysitting requests (for example: a new request, a reply, a confirmation, a reminder, or a change). Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your ability to use the service by email.

We do not sell or share your mobile number, or any personal information, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used only to deliver the notifications described above.

Service providers

We rely on a few processors strictly to run the service: Vercel and Upstash (hosting and data storage), Resend (email), Twilio (SMS), and Google Calendar (calendar invites for confirmed sittings). They process data only to provide these functions.

Your choices

You can edit or remove your information from within the app, opt out of texts at any time, or contact us to delete your account.
